Scottish Light

I am visiting the east coast of Scotland this weekend. I have been before and one of the things that struck me was the amazing light, bright, clear and somehow bringing colour and richness into the landscape. I am not sure how this should be...maybe I need to hunt for a scientific answer. Anyway, it has got me thinking about colour and richness.

My latest commissioned painting

I love to work on large canvasses, and I love to work on commissions so I have counted myself as very lucky to have had the chance to work on this large canvas for American clients. It will hang in a city, and hopefully remind the owners of country fields and grasses!
