Early Morning Summer Light

My studio this morning. Light in the early morning on a sunny summers day feels radiant, and it's transience makes the moments something to remember. The painting below is a work in progress trying to catch that atmosphere.

One painting, five views

One painting, five views.

My diptych titled 'Midnight Garden'. I thought it would be useful to show various perspectives of a canvas, the back, sides and close up.

Have a lovely weekend all.

Thinking about dusk light

Work in progress, this painting is 80x100cm. My bin is happily multitasking as a stand for this painting whilst I sit back with a coffee and have a good look and and a good think.
