 I spend time working directly from landscapes, making these paintings and drawings gives me ideas and inspiration for my paintings on canvas. They are drawn on watercolour paper, using oil pastels, acrylic, pencil and charcoal. I love to use compressed charcoal too, which makes a very intense black mark.
