I love to try and catch winter light, it can be cold and bright in Kent where I live, and walking through farm land past fields with hedgerows dark with branches, and the sun shining is very beautiful.
I use top quality acrylic paints, and layer them onto my canvas over days and weeks to create a very textured and rich paint surface. I often work outside, and this painting was started outside and finished in my studio.
