Just back from the picture famers

I am just home from the framers. It is always so exciting to see work framed up, and choosing the right sort of frame that reflects the pictures to their best can be a bit tricky sometimes. i favour very simple contemporary looking frames. these are birch, treated with liming wax. I love the subtle colour in the wood. the pictures come from my immediate surroundings, wood and fields. Both these are 37.5.48.5cm, mixed media on watercolour papaer, and £175 each, plus carriage.
