Today is such a beautiful day, weather wise. I am working outside and have just taken off my jacket. This may not seem significant, but February in my neck of the woods is frequently the coldest, and most miserable month of the year. Instead of sleet or rain I am being treated to bird song, and even owls hooting in the daytime.

I am sure this has made me reach for 'This Afternoon' and splash bright shades on the canvas :)

Work at Cocolicious from 17th February

I am very happy to have some artwork on the walls at Cocolicious in Cranbrook for one month from tomorrow 18th February.

Winter's Riches

I am quite sad to say goodbye to this small painting. I have been getting into rich winter colour, and this painting has been the result of lots of experiment on colour and texture.

Have I told you about the Walled Nursery?

I live in a beautiful part of the world, and very close to my home is a beautiful cafe, plant centre and general horticultural knowledge base, set in a stunning Victorian walled garden.

The Walled Nursery is a dream, and has been hired out by the likes of Jo Malone for experiential days and photo shoots.

I'm lucky enough to hang artwork on their walls, and they sell both prints and originals for me. In the past few days, they have been busy on my behalf and sold the pictures below. Thank you Emma, Monty and the team.
