Wintery work in progress

I am warming up to winter. These two works in progress are both small, at 30x30cm. The palette is firmly warm greys and pinks.

I live at the bottom of a hill, fog and mist hangs around here when it has long disappeared elsewhere.

I am working on this larger piece, full of blues, greys, purples, pinks and foggy white. Very December like!

Inside the Studio at Saatchi Online

Bright day

I am so enjoying working on this series of small paintings. they are pretty abstract, employing lots of my favourite shapes, colours and textures.

I have been listening to Ruby and the Vines, since I met lead singer Binnie at the weekend...beautiful vocalist, maybe it's put me in the mood for bright intense colours.

Marshland

Marshland. I live quite close to the Romney Marshes, something about the atmosphere there draws me. Great colours and skies too. This smallish painting is 40x40cm, titled 'Marshland'

I am part of Artfinder's Advent Calendar! Since eating my first (two!) mince pies I am feeling quite festive, maybe I need to invest in a Christmas jumper as well....

I am working on this commissioned 90x90cm painting at the moment. I realise that I use more green, blue and white paint that any other colours....England is a green and rainy place!
