Snow

The lane I live in
It would usually be impossible to stand on the side of my lane without being passed by cars and tractors...but today, because of the snow, and the unsalted state of our road, I can! And it was fun! There three sketches are all around 60x75cm, I will work on a painting from these.

Getting chilly

Bedgebury Forest
This is a local place for me, I visit quite often wearing a pair of trainers and jogging. I thought I would visit with my paints instead, and i loved being there!I will definitely return.

Happy January!!
Happy New Year all. It's wet, windy and warm here in Kent, a complete contrast to last year which was so chilly and sharp. I have been out sketching, the winter landscape is so appealing to me, great colours and revealed structure. These are all small pictures, as yet unframed.
