Thanks to Di Soames, who has set up Affordable Office Art, for buying my painting, I usually have work framed myself, this time she will have it done and I am looking foward to seeing the result.

Flower power
I just love this photo by Amy Merrick. It reminds me of the Cottage Garden at Sissinghurst Castle Gardens. I live close by and visit often. It is a magical setting with a suitably eccentric, quirky, aristocratic English history behind it.

Monday morning
Thanks to everyone who came to my and Sam Williams art sale last Friday and Saturday. It was a lovely two days, really enjoyable and busy. The painting below had the most positive feedback....it is titled 'Rainy Afternoon'. maybe more people like rain than I thought!
Moving foward, I am working on this piece this morning, working title 'Rainy Summer Afternoon'. More layers required. Actually it is bright and beautiful at the moment, a light frost and blue skies.

Molygrove, Wales
After a visit to Wales the other weekend, I made this painting. We stayed in a beautiful house with a sea view, and tiny bay just a few moments walk away. Molygrove is a hamlet, the house we stayed just outside. The weather was alternatively wet and bright, gorgeous for the landscape fan!
This painting is 90x90cm

Moving on.....here is an update on this painting. In celebration of rain, well actually a rain shower. Not the relentless stuff we get here sometimes.

Architects Gallery, Teddington
I will once again have some artwork at the Architects Gallery early next spring.....watch this space!
Do you like the pinkish/greenish hue of this small painting? I have been looking at it in my studio for a day or so now. So far the title Rainy Day has come into my head.

Big painting continues.....
I'm finding it tough to get a good shot of this painting, I have even reverted to taking a picture in my kitchen, that's why it is a little bit dark.
I have been working on this painting for a while now.....this is it's last photo.

Eddying
This is a portrait to the landscape painting below, Watery Conversations. It's leaf falling time here, and the patterns and shapes from that are always so lovely.

Walk to Camber Sands
I have been busy in the last few weeks, and am busy photographing work today.
This painting is Walk to Camber Sands, which is our local beach. It is backed by sand dunes covered in heavy coarse grasses...the sort you can play hide and seek in. Any walk to the beach involves a pathway through the grasses, and a natural frame for the sea.
