 This work in progress is all about the colour and light on a rainy morning. Pale crops and luminous skies.

Moving on.....here is an update on this painting. In celebration of rain, well actually a rain shower. Not the relentless stuff we get here sometimes.

Memories of a rainy summer afternoon

I am obsessing over rain at the moment, I do live in a land of pretty consistent drizzle. I actually like it, but don't like to mention that too loudly...I'm definitely in the minority! The above is a work in progress, lots of soft blues and greens.

Big painting continues.....

I'm finding it tough to get a good shot of this painting, I have even reverted to taking a picture in my kitchen, that's why it is a little bit dark.
