By the way...

I am so happy with the way this painting looks in situ. It is 120x200cm....the size and shape of the wall it hangs on is perfect.

Small painting with so much red!!

I don't usually use a lot of red and purple in my work....but I think i caould get to like it.
This piece is small, 30x30cm, I may go wild and make a large painting with a similar palette

Three in one painting

I have been working on this commission. It's drying time at the moment, there are lots of layers of paint already, and lots of lovely iridescent shades.

Jaynes' garden

Take a look at my good friend Jayne's beautiful garden......I just love visiting this place. The garden has a big scale, and the colours are gorgeous.

Tim Summerton

I discovered the work of this artist last year via the Tim Olsen Gallery, in Sydney. Sad to say I have visited only by website. i really love the sense of space and colour in these modern interpretations of landscape. I have picked out this painting as my favourite so far in his upcoming exhibtion at the gallery.

Painting for a Poet

I have just sold a painting to Abegail Morley, please take a look at her lovely blog here. I feel she has excellent taste! Here is her choice of painting.

The above piece is a work in progress, similar to a few things I have done in the past few months.

Warm sunshine, in my paintings anyway....

50x40cm.

It feels like freezing rain outside, but I'm not thinking about that, instead, the warm days of spring......
